Adjust a Bunch of Images at the Same Time?
First, in the Library module, select a bunch of images you want to edit (you have to select them first. This is important because if you don’t select them first, the button you’re going to need will be hidden), and then go to the Develop module. At the bottom of the right side Panels area, you’ll see the Sync… button with a little switch to its left. Click on that switch and it turns on Auto Sync (one of my favorite of all Lightroom features). Now, down in the Filmstrip, while those images are still selected, click on the image you want to work on and start making your edits. Any change you make to this image (which Adobe calls “the most-selected image”) will be immediately applied to all your other selected images at the same time. It’s pretty much a “change one, it changes them all” type of edit, but it’s one of those things that can save a load of time, especially when changing things like exposure or white balance across a lot of images.
