Play, Rewind, or Repeat My Slide Show?

There are two ways to play your slide show: Clicking the Preview button (at the bottom of the right side Panels area) shows your slide show, surrounded by black, but just within the Preview area where you’re building it. This is handy because Lightroom doesn’t have to render all your images at full-screen size to do this, so it goes quickly and smoothly (and the music plays, transitions appear, the whole nine yards. It’s just a smaller size—a preview size). To pause the Preview slide show, click the Pause button down in the toolbar below the Preview area (as seen above). Clicking the Play button (also at the bottom of the right side Panels area) presents the slide show full-screen size, so you don’t see Lightroom at all. To exit this full-screen view, press the Esc key on your keyboard and it returns you to Lightroom. There is no Rewind button, so to start your slide show over, scroll your Filmstrip all the way to the left, click on the first slide, and then start your slide show again. Also, by default, it plays all the images in your collection. If you just want some particular images in your collection to play, select them first down in the Filmstrip, then from the Use pop-up menu in the toolbar, choose Selected Photos.
