Sync My Slide Show to Music?

Right below the Music panel, in the right side Panels area, is the Playback panel, and in the Automatic tab, you’ll see the Sync Slides to Music checkbox. Turn that on, and Lightroom analyzes the music and tries to sync the changing of the slides to changes in the music track, and every once in a while, it actually works. I haven’t had that experience myself, but I’ve heard stories of people having it work for particular songs. I saw an Adobe demo song where it worked really well, and apparently, if you use that same exact song it’ll work, but outside of that song, it’s a total roll of the dice. Is there any way to tweak how it syncs or do it manually, so the slides change right where you want them to? Nope. It either somehow changes the slides where you hope it would, or it doesn’t (expect the second of the two). Why am I telling you this? Because I don’t want you to think you’ve done something wrong, or be unduly frustrated, when the results of syncing the music is…ummm…let’s say, “less than ideal.”
